We’ve hit a new milestone – Skimlinks has generated more than £3,000,000 in merchant sales!

Amazingly, we arrived at the total of £1,000,000 in April, which means we’ve clocked more than £2,000,000 in just two months!

What a week! Skimlinks is up for another two awards, this time at The Europas!

The company is up for Best Enterprise/B2B Startup and Alicia is in the running for Best Startup Founder!

We’re very excited to have a shot at these brand-spanking new awards, to be announced on July 9th, and the winners will be chosen through a voting process. You can vote for Skimlinks here, and Alicia here.

We’ll be competing against quite the line-up, with such a large amount of nominees in each category, including some pretty big names!

Skimlinks collected an amazing two gongs last night at the NMA Effectiveness Awards!

Alicia and Joe were on hand to pick up the unexpected awards for Best New Business and the Special Award for Technological Innovation.

In addition, Joe attended the Linkshare Golden Link Awards in New York City on Tuesday night. We received the runner up awards for Best New Publisher and Technology Genius at the glitzy event.

We’re absolutely honoured to be recognised both here and in the States alongside such big players in the industry.

Skimbit’s CEO Alicia will be on the panel today at the first ever Harnessing the Power of Twitter event in London.

At 3.30pm she’ll weigh in on the question on everybody’s lips – ‘How do you achieve a return on your tweets?’

The discussion will include an exploration of options: what works and what doesn’t, how to link in Twitter to your website, how to turn followers into customers, and also hot to measure your success.

Skimbit’s Joe Stepniewski is in New York today for the 6th Annual Linkshare Golden Link Awards 2009.

The awards ceremony will be held during the Linkshare Symposium Luncheon, hosted by the one and only Joan Rivers! Oh la la!

Skimlinks is up for the Best New Publisher award and the Technology Genius Award (that would be Ciaran)  and this is our first time nominated and shortlisted for the Linkshare Golden Link Awards.
